The Transmogrifier 2020

Created for the Supernova Digital Animation Festival 2020.

Overwhelmed with the amount of uncertainty that we are experiencing in these difficult days, I was thinking it would be wonderful to have a machine that would take negative energy and turn it into positive energy, like a giant energy filter.  This lead to the idea for the “Transmogrifier”; a 3 minute animation designed to take advantage of the unique shape of the two sided LED screen. One side funnels negative energy  from the outside world into a steampunked box. Special love rays zap the negative energy into happy feelings and sends them up and out into the world.
